Hey world, what’s up?!
Whyyy is it so hard for me to get over to my own website and post? I feel like I’m a bit self-averse but I know this isn’t actually true. I think I just don’t know what to say because I don’t know what to say about my music. I do have some idea, just not a complete idea… so, I think I avoid just posting incomplete thoughts. Recently I’ve been recording, recording with friends, recording in a giant studio, and both have been amazing. However, the whole process isn’t complete and so I’ve been afraid to post about the fragments. I have a gig coming up on July 10th at Rockwood Music Hall. I also haven’t posted enough about this show yet. Why? Because I haven’t figured out all of the details yet myself. But I guess I’ve been wondering… what comes first? Gathering all of the details or just biting the bullet and looking forward, writing in anticipation of the parts coming together as a whole. I think the latter is the way to go, and so I’m writing to you, and will start writing about the fragments, embracing the fragments, knowing that I am working towards putting it all together.
